Stereo 09/06: »Die Errungenschaften von SACD-Surround kommen den vielfältigen klanglichen Mixturen zugute, vor allem was die Transparenz des Klangbildes betrifft. Es scheint, dass Salonens Atem jetzt musikalisch schneller geht, so dass sich in der Neuaufnahme auch der Eindruck größerer Geschlossenheit einstellt. Es macht Eindruck, wie leuchtkräftig und geschmeidig das vorzügliche Blech die melodischen Abschnitte intoniert, ohne im skandalösen Rausch die kontrastschärfenden Grellheiten einzuebnen.«- Tracklisting
