Das Newport Jazz Festival 1976 wurde am Nachmittag mit einem Doppelkonzert von Tony Bennetts Working Quartet und dem Bill Evans Trio eröffnet. Diese Kombination bot Tony und Bill auch die Gelegenheit, sich zu einer schönen Interpretation von „My Hoolish Heart“ zu treffen, und gab den beiden Gruppen die Möglichkeit, ihr eigenes Ding zu machen. Evans' Trio ist in großartiger Form und besteht aus Eddie Gomez (b) und Elliot Zigmund (ds).
