Enigmathek Press: SUSPEK - Murder in York, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

On the Illuminating-York Saturday in early November, the retired Senior Archivist of the Borthwick Industrial Records, Miss Edith Rowntree-Pearce, 69, is found dead at 42 Bishophill Senior, the cast-iron roasting iron still on the sideboard above her. Inspector Hartmann takes the case and slides the Borthwick Industrial Records cross-reference across the desk. Inside: thousands of first names from a century-and-a-half of York chocolate-firm minute-books, wages ledgers and apprenticeship registers. One of them belongs to the killer.

SUSPEK is not a crime novel you simply read. It is a case you solve yourself.

Read the clues, cross out the innocent and find the killer before the trail goes cold.

SUSPEK is puzzle-crime on paper. Reading, puzzling, thinking, no screen, no app. You sit at the table with the book, cross out names, compare lists and follow every trace. At the end, one name remains.
