Es folgten erste Platten wie z.B. »Do You Wanna Bump«. Der Durchbruch mit Boney M gelang Farian allerdings erst in 1976 mit der Hit-Single »Daddy Cool« welche sowohl im ARD Musikladen wie auch in der Plattenküche präsentiert wurden. Danach verkaufte sich die Single wie geschnitten Brot! Es folgte ein Hit nach dem anderen. »Sunny«, »Ma Baker«, »Rasputin« u.v.a
Mit »Rivers Of Babyloon« verkaufte Boney M über 4 Millionen Singles und ist daher die erfolgreichste Single der Band. Weltweit dominierte Boney M die Charts, ob UK oder USA, Frankreich oder Kanada. Überall war Boney M auf der Poolposition.
40 Jahre später erscheint nun das neue Album Boney M »Diamonds«. Darauf die erfolgreichsten Singles sowie weitere Hits von angesagten DJs/Produzenten z.B. Bassflow, John Munich, Jay Frog & Amfree und Blank & Jones im heutigen Sound angepasst. Absolut hitverdächtigt und Club-fähig! Außerdem wird es einen brandneuen »Diamond« 40th Anniversary Megamix geben.
Ebenfalls erscheint eine neue 3er DVD-Box mit ausschließlich neuen Inhalten!
