Alison Krauss ist ein Phänomen. Mit fünf lernte sie Violine spielen, vor mehr als 30 Jahren startete sie ihre Karriere, zunächst solo und später mit ihrer Band Union Station, die bislang sage und schreibe 27 Grammys hervorbrachte. Das letzte Soloalbum der Countryikone liegt dennoch weit in der Vergangenheit.
Umso schöner ist es, dass sie 2017 mit »Windy City« ein weiteres Werk vorlegt, für das sie sich einigen besonderen Songklassikern widmete.

Es ist eine kleine Sensation: Mit »Windy City« veröffentlicht Alison Krauss 2017 ein neues Soloalbum.
