The Primitives sind eine britische Indie-Pop-Band, die 1985 im englischen Coventry gegründet wurde. Nachdem die Gruppe sich 1992 auflöste, kam es 2009 zur Neugründung. 1988 erschien das erfolgreiche Debütalbum "Lovely" mit der Hit-Single "Crash", die in Großbritannien die Top 5 und in den USA die Top 3 erreichte. 25 Jahre danach wird "Lovely" nun als exklusive 25th-Anniversary-Expanded-Edition wiederveröffentlicht.
