Das war schlichtweg die absolute Wahrheit. Unsere Retrospektive der Jahre 1954 bis 1958 beginnt mit den Sun-Aufnahmen. Sie sind auf ungezählten Zusammenstellungen enthalten - unendlich oft kopiert und bearbeitet - hier aber sind sie zum allerersten Mal komplett, unbearbeitet und in erstklassiger Tonqualität! Es gibt sogar einige unveröffentlichte Stücke. Diese erste in Reihe von CD-Boxen zum Thema Johnny Cash wird abgerundet von seinen ersten Aufnahmen für Columbia, inklusive 'I Still Miss Someone' und 'Don't Take Your Guns To Town'. Die fünfte CD enthält eine komplette Aufnahmesession für Columbia mit abgesprochenen Versuchen, Studiogesprächen und damals nicht veröffentlichten Fassungen.
