The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Iain Matthews ist ein Urgestein der Folk-Rock-Geschichte. Der Brite verließ die »Fairport Convention« nach zwei Jahren, um seine eigene Band »Matthews Southern Comfort« zu gründen – und mit dem Song »Woodstock« einen europaweiten Hit zu landen. Mit Ad Vanderveen hatte er bereits zahlreiche Auftritte. Nach fünf Jahren erscheint nun das zweite Album des Duos, mit Originals und Cover-Versionen. Songs mit einer warmen, klar scheinenden Atmosphäre, überwiegend akustisch. Und in der Tradition der amerikanischen Singer-Songwriter, deren Ausgangsmaterial schon immer von den britischen Inseln und Irland kam.
