»Warrior on the Edge of Time« is Hawkwind's fifth studio album. It reached number 13 on the U.K. album charts at the time of it's initial release and was their third and last album to make the U.S. Billboard chart, where it peaked at number 150.

Das Band Line-Up bestand zu diesem Zeitpunkt aus Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Lemmy, Simon House, Simon King und Alan Powell. Die Neuauflage dieses Klassikers erscheint jetzt als 3Disc-Expanded-Edition inklusive mehrerer bisher noch unveröffentlichter Stücke. Darüberhinaus bietet die 3Disc-Edition einen neuen Stereo-Mix des Albums auf CD und eine zusätzliche DVD mit einem 5.1 Surround-Mix sowie eine Aufnahme von den Original Stereo Master Tapes mit einer Auflösung von 24Bit bei 96kHz. Für die Neuabmischung war Porcupine Tree-Mastermind Steven Wilson zuständig. Inklusive einem aufwändig gestalteten Booklet mit einem Essay und vielen Fotos.
