The first new studion album since 1996's City Slang full length "In The Long Still Night", "Fire Music" is GALLON DRUNK's fifth album. Recorded in 2001 at Verdict Studios in Nottinghamshire, "Fire Music" sees GALLON DRUNK deliver their most complete and accomplished work to date. From piano led 60s styled melancholy ("Just One Word") to funcadelicised soul stew ("Out Of Sight"), the groups disparate influences are distilled through the unmistakeable and influential sound of GALLON DRUNK to create a colorful, absorbing and mature collection of songs and instrumentals. The band's current line up is James Johnston, Terry Edwards, Ian White and Jeremy Cottingham with extra vocals courtesty of Gillian Stokes.
