Heiko Fischer began his musical career at the early age of 7. After a couple of years of classical piano lessons he switched to the guitar and instantly started writing and recording his own music. At the age of 14 he already had played concerts with his own band, started producing on a 4-track and expanded his abilities on the guitar.

During the following years he could develop his skills and gained a deep understanding of his instrument and musical structure in general. Besides a diploma in particle physics he studied jazz in hamburg and berlin. His wide ranged musical education but more important his early experinces make him a versatile and outstanding musician.

»Vor allem aber hat Fischer sich intensiv mit Synthesizern, Samples und elektronischen Verfremdungseffekten auseinandergesetzt und so für sein Quartett eine höchst modernistische Umgebung geschaffen, die es ziemlich futuristisch klingen lässt.
