Annoying background sounds on CD1 destroyed overall impression
Great interpretation of Beethoven, lovely lyrical sound of Marias violin, BUT extremely annoying background sounds. Murmuring of maestro Honeck sounds like he has mic right on his jacket, it is so disturbing it's almost unlistenable. Adagio by Spohr is played by suprising maturity and emotional depth, very touching up until murmuring conductor striked again. She definitely did not deserve so poor sound producer for her first album. CD2 with different cadenzas has different recording producer and is much better.
