Fantastic album - a real musical journey
I got into Big Big Train via the Grimspound album and have been gradually collecting the back catalogue. This was the first album released after I became a fan, so I had a certain level of expectation. The album did not disappoint. That said, it did take a couple of listens to get into, but these repeated listens certainly repay the effort, as you make a new discovery each time. The two long tracks "Ariel" and "Voyager" are the standouts, but the album is uniformly high quality.
