Good if not the greatest for the series, good if not great pressing, shoddy inner sleeves and dirty records
The music is good, although I did get the idea Djawadi’s inspiration had run slightly flat and mechanical here and there. The records sounds good but not great, the packaging was very substandard.
I will not dwell on the music, as it is quite good and I assume people wanting this album know it already. The outer sleeve looks quite nice, and the vinyls looks good. The pressing is good, if not on the level of the 180gr audiophile pressings I have for Seasons 4-6 (done by Music On Vinyl), and all records are very slightly warped (no problem when playing them). At that, two of the three records had edges like a saw, so weren’t very well trimmed (or al all). What was really substandard is the housing of the vinyls themselves; all records came in various flimsy, unlined paper inner sleeves, and were, right out of the shrink-wrap, so dirty with dust and paper motes I had to clean them before transferring them to proper lined inner sleeves. Or playing the, for that matter.
All that said, for the price this is a fairly decent set (barring the inner sleeves), but not with high quality finish. I still reccomend them for those who want the music of vinyl now, but if you want them on the best vinyl and packaging, you might want to wait until Music On Vinyl issue them (if they will).
