Simply wunderful!
I have enjoyed Veronika Skupliks violin playing for a long time. With her recordings on Fra Bernardo even more so, since they have given me the opportunity to listen to her beautiful, sensual violin in a small setting accompanied by only a lute or an organ. Of the three records in the Violino-series, the third one is actually one of the finest baroque violin records I have ever listened to. The way she manages to make feelings speak through her violin in a way that makes the distance between me an the composers disappear is simply stunning. Jörg Jacobis organ is the perfect match for this music.
