A totally disappointing performance and recording.
A recording completely devoid of bass. You can remove the low-midrange speakers from your's loudspeakers and you won't notice any difference. The recording is flat with no verve, no energy. I actually fell asleep while listening to it - probably not what the composer had in his mind. In truth I should return this disc as it is worth no more than €5. Never trust the ‘reviews’ of so-called professional critics.
