CPO exploring verismo opera's
I like it that CPO records opera's that are not standard in the repertoire. Would have bought Cilea's L'arlesiana as well but because there is no libretto included i decided not to buy it. Hope that CPO is going to record more verismo opera's from composers like Giordano, Catalani, Cilea etc and maybe a new French version of Cherubini's Medee with a first rate cast (Alex Penda as Medee?).
