Not just another Best Of
Within these three thematic CDs are some well-known hits from James Last, but it is no ordinary list of "the best of". In the past, for example, dozens of Lastalbums have appeared with the same known repertoire. The special thing about these 3 CDs is that they contain much lesser known or long forgotten repertoire of the maestro, and even tracks that have only been released on foreign albums, f.i. in Taiwan, Canada, USA, .... A lot of tracks that only appeared on 45T single or compilation have also been brought together here. The wide variety of styles in particular makes this set very fascinating, and shows how creative James Last was in his long career. This is simply not a best of, but a special selection from the very rich oeuvre of the regretted James Last. It is more than worthwhile to add this 3cd-set to your collection!
