Music for a new society revamped
When released in 1982, the album was heavily ignored. Too freaky, less structural songs ? I liked it back then, and still do .The album sold poorly. John Cale decided to give his masterpiece a new chance and treatment. He is never afraid to walk new un-explored ways to express his musical talents. What we hear is sometimes hard to understand, but still very John Cale. Superb sounding vinyl. For new JC listeners I would suggest to buy the version which has both the 1982 and 2015 edition of the album. Then judge by yourself...
