To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Dieses Recital vereint zwei etablierte Klassiker des 20. Jahrhunderts mit weniger Bekanntem. Neben Ravels Sonate, die den Einfluss des Jazz auf den Komponisten reflektiert, und neben Prokofjews Sonate aus Kriegszeiten (ein Arrangement des Originals für Flöte) sind Werke von Pärt, Boulanger und Bacewicz zu hören, die mit ihrer teils meditativen, teils lyrischen, teils von Volksmusik inspirierten Art wertvolle Beiträge zum Genre sind. Vorgetragen hier vom schwedisch-norwegischen Gewinner der Nielsen Competition 2019. Dies ist bereits die vierte Veröffentlichung von Johan Dalene auf BIS nach drei umfangreich ausgezeichneten Vorgängern.
