...der kein Ende fand, stammt wohl diese Zusammenstellung .
Es sind zwar gut anhörbare Alben dabei, aber auch solche mit durchaus nervtötenden Interpretationen. (welche das jeweils sind, ist die vielzitierte Geschmackssache.)
Klang : Wie seit jeher nicht immer so, wie oft angepriesen .
Repertoirewert : 0 . - So geht das nicht verehrte Herausgeber !
Von der phase 4 - serie mit diesen und weiteren LPs u. CDs erwarb ich insgesamt 6 Alben, - genau die Hälfte habe ich schon vor längerem wieder "ausgemustert" .

Schlechte Auswahl!

Schade, eine einmalige Gelegenheit, viele interessante Aufnahmen zu präsentieren. Aber z.B. 9 CDs mit Aldrichs Zweifinger-Geklimpere, abwechselnd links und rechts...
Meist sehr kurze Laufzeiten. Besser die Vocalion-Ausgaben kaufen, da gibt es auch meistens 2 LPs auf 1 CD!
