Nun bringt die Deutsche Grammophon eine einzigartige Sammlung dieser Aufnahmen als 7-LP-Set in limitierter Auflage heraus.

»John Williams in Concert« vereint Aufführungen von Filmmusik mit dem Saito Kinen Orchestra, den Berliner Philharmonikern und den Wiener Philharmonikern sowie die Weltersteinspielung von Williams’ zweitem Violinkonzert mit der Solistin Anne-Sophie Mutter und dem Boston Symphony Orchestra. Das stilvoll gestaltete Set enthält neben den Booklettexten der jeweiligen Alben, einen neuen Essay über John Williams vom renommierten Filmmusik-Autor Jon Burlingame, Erinnerungen von Williams selbst, Anne-Sophie Mutter und anderen an diesen Aufnahmen beteiligten Musikern sowie eine Auswahl an Konzert- und Porträtfotos.
