Der neapolitanische Komponist Rocco Greco war Instru-mentalist an der Cappella Vicereale. Zu seinen Kompositio-nen zählen die 28 Sinfonie à due viole und elf Instrumental-stücke, die wahrscheinlich das Incipit einer gregorianischen Antiphon waren. Die Werke sind in einem einzigen Band mit Manuskriptpartituren erhalten, der auch Musik von Gaetano Francone und Giovanni Bononcini enthält.
