Nicholas Jackson has pursued a career as an organist, harpsichordist and composer. Mass for a Saint's Day, his first choral work, achieved great success and remains in the repertoire of many church choirs all over the English-speaking world. Jackson's Requiem, an enlargement of the composer's Missa cum Jubilo, incorporates plainsong in the style of Duruflé.
