Joey Morris: Nine Paths to the Morrigan, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

Discover how our stories intertwine with the mythology of the Morrigan and how we might walk each path to better understand the goddess---and ourselves.

An evocative figure, the Morrigan is a star of ancient Irish mythology---a shapeshifting goddess who weaves and changes fate. With a modern resurgence of interest in the Morrigan, there has been a revival of worship in pagan circles, which are still frequently misunderstood.

In Nine Paths to The Morrigan , author Joey Morris goes beyond most books on the Great Queen, not only exploring the mythology and stories, but showing you how to walk through life with this goddess. Having followed Celtic witchcraft for decades, Morris reveals the nine different facets of this complex goddess: Shapeshifter, Warrior, Prophetess, Death, Phantom, Sorceress, Destroyer / Oaths, Queen / Land, and Raven.

By diving deep into the path of each aspect, such as the Path of the Shapeshifter or the Path of the Raven, you learn how to walk the spiritual journey of each archetype, connecting you closer to the goddess Morrigan. Participatory practices include spells, rituals, meditations, and exercises.

These practices will help you in your personal healing, reclaiming your identity, and, in the process, restoring your own sovereignty and empowerment. Nine Paths to The Morrigan supports those who wish to dedicate themselves to this goddess, or simply learn about her in greater depth, and in so doing, learn more deeply about themselves.
