Endless nights of violence, silence, and despair left her with one certainty: she knew what it was like to grow up in a home where your parents are unhappy.
She never wished for a completely different family; all she wished for was to have the same dreams as other girls. Dreams like: "One day, I want to marry someone like my father."
Or simply having the same fears as other girls. Fears like losing their parents.
But for her, it was the opposite.
Her nightmare was ending up marrying someone like her father.
Her prayer was that her parents would simply disappear.

But after all, this is not a story of hate.
Its not about blame.
Its a story of love.
Its a story of survival.
