But maybe the rules are not so simple. Maybe kepler 22b misstated them. Maybe he underestimated the Players.

Maccabee has Earth Key and Sky Key and he is determined to find Sun Key. He Plays to win, always. But fate can turn in the blink of an eye. Especially for the Player who carries the strange child, Sky Key, with him to the end.

And in spite of all that’s happened in Endgame, Aisling has help. Sarah, Jago, Shari, and Hilal share her mission. Sun Key must not be found.
For these Players, the rules of the game have changed.
No matter what they’re Playing for, the remaining Players have one thing in common: they are all willing to die to achieve their mission, whatever this may be.
