Donna Pisani: Stake Your Claim, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

This transformative message for Christians who wrestle with fears or insecurities calls us to stop striving for God's approval and start living from it.

Some of us have been working overtime to earn something that's already been paid for. We've been measuring spiritual "progress" in points even though Jesus has already settled the score. We've been trying to get God's attention when he is inviting us into deeper relationship.

In *Stake Your Claim,*Donna Pisani speaks to all of us who are striving so hard to earn God's approval that we're missing the identity we already have. Drawing on the fascinating "stake in the ground" imagery we find throughout Scripture, Donna calls us to:

• Break free from performance-based faith as we embrace what Christ has already finished
• Recognize and resist "claim jumpers" like shame and fear
• Renew our minds as God's truth replaces the lies we believe

Discover a courageous trust in God's promises as you live in the freedom of who you already are. After all, Jesus' death on the cross was not from the attitude of "Well, let me see what I can salvage." It was when he drove a stake into the soil of human history and declared to each of us, "This ground belongs to me. And so do you."
