Donna Gephart hat die meiste Zeit ihrer Kindheit in der Northeast Regional Library in Philadelphia verbracht. Heute lebt sie mit ihrer Familie in South Florida, wo sie schreibt, Kayak und Fahrrad fährt, Parks und Strände erkundet und Buchläden und Büchereien besucht. Sie ist eine beliebte Rednerin an Schulen, bei Konferenzen, in Büchereien und auf Festivals.
