Sophia Fenn, a former high-powered financial expert, is accused of embezzlement when she blows the whistle on her boss. As he slowly obeserves and gets to know her, he can't help but nurse a hope that maybe he could share his life with someone after all.

Sophia and Nathan can't deny their attraction, but they fight against it, their earlier resolutions intact. It takes a blizzard, a trial and locked in a bed and breakfast to break through their insecurities.
