Patti Smith, geboren 1946 in Chicago, Rockmusikerin, Dichterin, Performance-Künstlerin, Malerin und Fotografin. Seit dem Album Horses (1975) eine Ikone der Punk-, Wave- und Frauenbewegung. 2008 zeigte Patti Smith ihr künstlerisches Werk in Paris. 2007 wurde Patti Smith in die Rock n Roll Hall of Fame aufgenommen.
