Lauren Alaina is from Rossville, Georgia. She auditioned in Nashville for American Idol 2011, and is also a rumored Top 40 contestant on American Idol Season 10. During her audition Lauren Alaina was able to sing Aerosmith’s hit single “Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” with the Aerosmith front man himself, Steven Tyler. If that’s any sign of things to come for Lauren Alaina, then she may have a shot at becoming the next Idol.

According to Lauren Alaina, they would hang out in her room and sing along to songs. At age 12, Lauren Alaina was told that Holly had a brain tumor, which made her drive even stronger.
Lauren Alaina’s all-time favorite performer is Carrie Underwood, because of her beauty as well as her ability to captivate an audience. This musical influence is definitely apparent in Lauren Alaina’s Country, Pop singing style.
