Rapture ist das fünfte Studioalbum der erfolgreichen holländischen Liveband Sven Hammond.
Das neue Album wurde von der Band selbst, in ihrem eigenen Studio in Delft, geschrieben, aufgenommen und produziert und enthält einige One-Takes und improvisierte Momente. Zu hören sind Einflüsse aus Soul, Rock’n’roll und sexy Rhythm and Blues.
Zudem sind unter anderem Features von Kris Berry (NL) und Marcus Mann (US) auf der Platte zu finden.
»Rapture is an album that has its origin in performing from the heart«, sagt Gründungsmitglied und Frontmann Sven Figee. »We aren’t trying to write the typical popsong, but are writing with our gutfeeling. And that ends up in rhythm & blues songs with a hefty dose of rock n’ roll by which we at our live shows are trying to bring our audience completely in ectasy«.
