Nicht nur, dass die Pet Shop Boys am 12. April 2019 einen ganz besonderen Konzertfilm mit Livealbum veröffentlichen, zudem liefert das britische Elektropop-Duo am selben Tag eine EP mit vier neuen Tracks.

»Agenda« heißt die EP, die als 12"-Single auf Vinyl erscheint.

Alle vier Songs stellten Neil Tennant und Chris Lowe bereits im Februar vor. Sie tragen die Titel »Give Stupidity A Chance«, »On Social Media«, »What Are We Going To Do About The Rich« und »The Forgotten Child«.

Die Songs entstanden Ende letzten Jahres und wurden von den Pet Shop Boys zusammen mit Tim Powell produziert. Und sie machen definitiv Lust auf mehr, sollen jedoch nicht Teil des kommenden Albums sein, das vermutlich im Herbst erscheinen wird, und bei dem erneut Stuart Price die Produktion übernahm.

Schallplattenfreunde aufgepasst: Die Pet Shop Boys versüßen uns das Warten aufs neue Album mit einer 12"-EP. Hier ist »Agenda«.
