Pentangle war eine britische Folkjazz-Band. Das Quintett wurde 1967 von Bert Jansch und John Renbourn in London gegründet, die zuvor bereits solistische Erfolge im Duo feiern konnten. Ihnen schlossen sich Jacqui McShee, Danny Thompson und Terry Cox an.
