Der »Godfather of Britpop« live
Erst letztes Jahr feierte Paul Weller seinen 60. Geburtstag und veröffentlichte passend dazu sein neues Album »True Meanings«.Die neuen Songs brachte der Sänger, Musiker und The-Jam-Gründer anschließen auch mehrfach auf die Bühne, unter anderem in der berühmten Londoner Royal Festival Hall.
2019 gibt es den Mitschnitt in Bild und Ton: Hier ist Paul Wellers »Other Aspects – Live At The Royal Festival Hall«.
Im Oktober spielte er zwei Konzerte in der Londoner Konzerthalle. Das zweite wurde für das Livealbum mitgeschnitten.
Auf der Trackliste des Abends stand ein karriereumspannendes Set, insgesamt 25 Tracks, neben neuen Songs auch zahlreiche Soloklassiker und ein paar The-Jam-Songs. Begleitet wurde Weller auf der Bühne von einem Orchester.
