Neil Young wird mit der Neil Young Official Bootleg Series (OBS), die im letzten Herbst mit der Veröffentlichung von Carnegie Hall 1970 (OBS1) begann, weitere seltene Live-Aufnahmen aus seinem umfangreichen Archiv veröffentlichen.
Am 6. Mai wird Young die nächsten drei Teile der Bootleg-Serie wie folgt veröffentlichen: Royce Hall, 1971 wurde am 30. Januar auf dem UCLA-Campus aufgenommen, ein akustisches Solo-Konzert. Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 1971 - ebenfalls solo und akustisch - ist das letzte US-Konzert von Youngs Solotournee 1971. Citizen Kane Jr. Blues (Live at The Bottom Line), aus New York City 1974 ist ein Überraschungs-Set. Soweit analoge Tonbänder in Youngs Archiv vorhanden sind, wurden diese Konzerte ordnungsgemäß abgemischt, so dass die Qualität der Aufnahmen wesentlich besser ist als bisher - Royce Hall 1971 und Dorothy Chandler Pavilion 1971 stammen von den analogen Originalmastern. Wo kein Band existiert, wurde das Original-Bootleg restauriert und neu gemastert, um dem Hörer das bestmögliche Klangerlebnis zu bieten - Citizen Kane Jr. Blues (Live at The Bottom Line), aus New York City 1974.
