Leo Reisman war Violinist und Bandleader, dessen Orchester in den 1920er Jahren zunächst im New Yorker Central Park Casino an Popularität gewann und eines der ersten Orchester war, das eine lange Liste von Hits in dem so genannten »sweet« Stil veröffentlichte, der das breite musikalische Spektrum Mittelamerikas während der Zwischenkriegsjahre und durch die 40er Jahre bis Anfang der 50er Jahre widerspiegelt.
