King-Crimson-Fans aufgepasst: 2019 kommt das »1972 - 1974 Limited Edition Vinyl Boxed Set«.Die Vinyl-Box präsentiert drei Studioalben aus der Zeit, nämlich »Larks’ Tongues In Aspic«, »Starless And Bible Black« und »Red«, und zwar als 40th-Anniversary-Edition mit Mixes von Steven Wilson und Robert Fripp aus den Jahren 2009–2012.
Dies ist das erste Mal, dass diese Mixes auf Vinyl erscheinen. Alle Alben kommen in ihren Originalhüllen.
Zusätzlich enthält eine vierte LP des »1972 - 1974 Limited Edition Vinyl Boxed Set« eine alternative Version von »Larks’ Tongues In Aspic«, die von Steven Wilson gemischt und produziert wurde, wobei »Easy Money« im Mix von David Singleton und Alex R. Mundy von 2012 erscheint.
Das Vinyl-Set wird mit der erweiterten Version des Live-Albums »USA« im 2013er-Mix komplettiert.
Alle Alben wurden für besten Klang auf 200 Gramm schweres Super-Heavyweight-Vinyl gepresst.
Außerdem enthält das »1972–1974 Limited Edition Vinyl Boxed Set« ein 24-seitiges Booklet und ein Album-Art-Poster.
