Kilburn and the High Roads war eine britische Rock-and-Roll-Band, die 1970 durch Ian Dury gegründet wurde. Es war gleichzeitig auch die erste Band Durys. Die Gruppe veröffentlichte zwei Alben, bevor sie sich 1977 wieder auflöste. Kilburn and the High Roads war in den frühen 1970er Jahren eine der meistspielenden Bands in der Londoner Pub-Rock-Szene. Auf Cherry Red Records erscheint jetzt eine Wiederveröffentlichung des Debütalbums »Handsome« aus dem Jahr 1975. Die Neuauflage erscheint als Doppel-CD-Expanded-Edition und bietet jede Menge Bonusmaterial. Plus Booklet mit vielen Fotos und informativen Liner Notes. Eine Empfehlung für alle Pub-Rock-Fans!
