Big Machine Records und Surfdog Records kündigen heute das Album »Glen Campbells Duets - Ghost on the Canvas Sessions« von Glen Campbell an. Das von der Kritik gefeierte und geschichtsträchtige Abschiedsalbum von 2011 erscheint im April 2024 neu interpretiert mit einigen der größten Ikonen der Musik.
Das Projekt ist das erste seiner Art. Ein Album, das posthum komplett als Duett neu aufgenommen wurde und den Originalgesang des verstorbenen Campbells und »Größen« wie Brian Wilson, Carole King, Dolly Parton, Elton John, Hope Sandoval, Linda Perry, Sting, Brian Setzer und vielen anderen Artists beinhaltet. Mit der Ankündigung werden auch zwei neue Tracks, »Hold On Hope« mit Eric Church und »Nothing But The Whole Wide World« mit Eric Clapton, veröffentlicht.
