bereits unmittelbar nach Veröffentlichung im Herbst 1993 zu einem riesigen Erfolg und verkaufte sich allein in Amerika mehr als sieben Millionen Mal. In England stieg die Scheibe bis auf Rang 16 der Charts, mit Verkäufen von über 400.000 Einheiten. Am 18. September 2007 spielte die Band in der New Yorker Town Hall zum ersten Mal das komplette Album und präsentierte dabei unter anderem die Hits „Mr. Jones“, „Round Here“ und „Rain King“.
