»Sleeping Through The War« wieder auf Platte
All Them Witches veröffentlichen 2021 ein Vinyl-Reissue ihres vierten Studioalbums »Sleeping Through The War«.»Sleeping Through The War« erschien ursprünglich am 24. Februar 2017 bei New West Records.
Acht Songs nahmen Charles Michael Parks Jr. (Gesang, Bass), Ben McLeod (Gitarre), Allan Van Cleave (Keyboard, Violine) und Robby Staebler (Schlagzeug) dafür auf, und zwar innerhalb von nur sechs Tagen. Produziert wurde die Platte von Grammy-Preisträger Dave Cobb, der unter anderem für seine Arbeit mit Chris Stapleton, Rival Sons oder Jason Isbell bekannt wurde. Cobbs Produktion verschob die musikalischen Akzente. Im direkten Vergleich zum Blues- und Psychedelic-Rock-Vorgänger »Dying Surfer Meets His Maker« steht hier Alternative-Rock im Fokus.
PS: Neben »Sleeping Through The War« erscheinen 2021 die Alben »Lightning At The Door« (2013), »Dying Surfer Meets His Maker« (2015), »ATW« (2018) und »Nothing As The Ideal« (2020) wieder auf Vinyl.
