I recently took a ride down through the Mississippi Delta…stuck to the back roads mostly, stopping to visit the graves of bluesmen like Sonny Boy Williamson and Robert Johnson, and places where these nomadic players worked for a little money to get on down to the next stop…
These days we still travel around all over, touring and making records, and we try to get them out to as many people as we can, any way that we can.
I’m thrilled to say that I spent the better part of past winter working on my 7th album, Bad Man’s Blood…It’s a loose, sparse, darkly textured recording. I think folks out there are going to dig it, but first they have to know that it exists…!
Red House Records has been a great label to me, and they have a brilliant publicist who does an outstanding job here on home turf. Combined with the help of my label, your contributions can give this album the extra push it needs. I come to ask for your help to bring Bad Man’s Blood to ears all around this mysterious planet of ours.
