Das neue Album "Pura Vida Conspiracy" von Gogol Bordello erscheint über ATO Records / [PIAS] Cooperative.
Drei Jahre nach ihrem letzten Studioalbum "Trans-Continental Hustle" ist die Gypsy-Punk Kapelle nun mit neuem Material zurück.
Produziert wurde "Pura Vida Conspiracy" von Andrew Sheps in El Paso, Texas in den Sonic Ranch Studios, und dabei ist eine kraftvolle Sammlung mit zwölf neuen Songs entstanden. Getreu dem Albumtitel findet sich in den Songs auf "Pura Vida Conspiracy" das pure Leben. Ein stürmisches, aber auch gewohnt verrücktes Lied-Sammelsorium mit dem typischen Gogol Bordello-Sound.
"For me music is a way to explore human potential", so Sänger Eugene Hütz. "And that's my main interest in life - human potential. Everyone knows there's something inside of us that we're not using. How do we get it? How do we reach it? Every single person knows that there's something and nobody knows what it is. So at one point I said to myself, I'm gonna get down and get it."
