Die Fatback-Band wurde bereits 1970 von Schlagzeuger Bill Curtis gegründet und begann als Funkband, die sich
auch mit Beginn der Disco-Ära 1974 weiter etablieren sollte. 1975 veröffentlichten sie sowohl ihr fünftes als auch ihr
sechstes Album 'Yum Yum' und 'Raising Hell'.

Featuring3 of their all time greatest hits "(Are You Ready) Do The Bus Stop", "(Do The) Spanish Hustle" and "Party Time", Raising Hell is a sublime piece of 70s funk. Anyone who has seen the band perform live in the last few years will know that these numbers are show stoppers and the band's vast legion of whistle blowing fans go ape every time they hear them!
