Diese 8-CD Box enthält alle frühen Ernest Tubb-Aufnahmen der Jahre 1936 bis 1947. Zunächst blieb Ernest Tubb ein Schützling der Witwe von Jimmie Rodgers. Doch nach einigen Jahren begann er, seinen eigenen Stil zu entwickeln, mit dem er schließlich Maßstäbe in der Country Music setzten sollte.
