One Little Indian veröffentlicht das Remix-Album des von Kritikern hochgelobten Björk Albums "Biophilia" aus dem Jahr 2011. Das vorliegende Album enthält einige der Remixe aus der achtteiligen Singles-Serie, die Anfang dieses Jahres veröffentlicht wurde. Das komplette Album wurde vom Grammy-nominierten Produzenten Mandy Parnell komplett neu remastered und beinhaltet Collabos, Remakes und Remixe von Current Value, Death Grips, Hudson Mohawke, Alva Noto, Matthew Herbert, Omar Souleyman, 16-bit, These New Puritans und den Slips. Björk selbst arbeitete auch mit ihrem Tontechniker Curver Thoroddsen zusammen, um ein besonderes Teil des Remixes von Matthew Herbert "Sacrifice" auf 'Pins and Needles Mix' herauszupicken und das Ergebnis ist überwältigend.

One Little Indian is set to release an album of remixed tracks from Björk's critically-lauded Biophilia. The album includes some of the remixes released in an eight-part series earlier this year, remastered for this album by Grammy-nominee Mandy Parnell, and features collaborations with Current Value, Death Grips, Hudson Mohawke, Alva Noto, Matthew Herbert, Omar Souleyman, 16-bit, These New Puritans, and The Slips. Björk also worked with her sound engineer Curver Thoroddsen to isolate a specific chapter of Matthew Herbert's "Sacrifice" remix on the Pins and Needles Mix found on the album. The original Biophilia album was released in 2011 to critical acclaim. The New York Times raved, "the new songs juxtapose hovering textures of choir and organ with sparse pointillism and sudden eruptions of breakbeat drumming, all set against Björk's idiosyncratic melodies: pithy or sustained, pausing unexpectedly and then snaking upward and opening out to a banshee wail."
