'Live In Scandinavia' (2007) is Ane Brun's very first Live album. It was recorded during her Scandinavian tour in 2006 and features The DMF string quintet, Nina Kinert and the guitarist Staffan Johansson. The album includes songs from Ane's first two albums with new string arrangements by Malene Bay-Foged and also two covers written by PJ Harvey and Jeff Buckley. The album got nominated for a Norwigian Grammy. Ane Brun is a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist, born in Molde, Norway in 1976. Since 2003 she has recorded six albums, three of which are studio albums, a live dvd and a collection of duets. She has lived in Stockholm, Sweden since 2001, where she writes, records and runs her own label (Balloon Ranger Recordings). This 2010 spring she will join Peter Gabriel on his "New Blood Tour".
