Inklusive
so unvergesslichen Stücken wie "Out Of The Ghetto", "Moonlight Lovin'", "Don't Take Your Love Away" oder
"Stranger In Paradise".
Remastered.
The 1977 release of New Horizon, the first of five albums for Polydor, was largely considered a return to form for Isaac Hayes. In addition to changing label, the soul legend brought his sound into the disco era with mixes by the legendary Tom Moulton.
The album features the funky and light-hearted Out Of The Ghetto, a track which not only returned Ike to the R&B singles chart but also showed his wry humorous side.
Also featured on the album is the slow-burning Don’t Take Your Love Away, in the classic Hayes ballad style. Swiftly recorded by Dionne Warwick, this became the template for their hit collaboration Déjà Vu two years later. In addition, the album features a disco update of the classic Stranger In Paradise which, together with Moonlight Lovin , made #16 on the Disco chart. The album reached #26 R&Band #78 Pop. BBR is proud to present NEW HORIZON in full expanded form, complete with extensive liner notes featuring an interview with Tom Moulton along with added bonus tracks.
